Morally perfect characters only work when the rest of the characters are normal people with flaws. Hollywood can’t make a fully good character with no moral grayness Because they don’t exist these characters are boring because there’s nothing else to them watch anime or something if your looking for unrealistic characters but people like things to be realistic now days they don’t want to feel like a main characters are being fake it takes you out of the show. I genuinely want to know what this guy thinks a good main character is.

Interesting take. My understanding is that the will of a person is the answer. For example, it was not ideals that kept Conan marching around the wheel of pain. Further, it was not ideals that kept Conan alive on the tree of woe. It was his will. Personified by his action in biting the vulture that was there to prey on him. You missed the point of the show LMAO. These characters aren't "bad." They live in a world where they have to steal to survive, not to mention their parents died when they were very young. And in their world they grew up knowing that they were (for some reason) "worse people" than the people living in top side. I feel like you only watched the first 3 episodes of the show man. 😭
